Sauce Boss Gazette  Volume 13 Number 8• November 15, 2005

After a brief break from the rigors of the long and winding road, we're back at it.
(I actually had time to go fishing, sweep the front porch, and catch a Gov't Mule show) Now it's a throwdown in the back yard-The Bradfordville Blues Club in Tallahassee, Florida. Then it's a book fair in Miami, and then~ yer not gonna believe this. But it's true. That's right. WE'RE GOIN TO LAS VEGAS!!!!!!! After that it's our annual December tour of the Northeast. We're hitting most of our old haunts in New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Y'all come 'n see us.

BAKED OKRA
This is sooo cool. Grease up a cookie sheet with olive oil and cover it with fresh whole okra. Put it in a 350 degree oven. Flip 'em over when the bottom side gets
a little brown, and cook 'em a little more. Take 'em out and eat 'em. (Sauce Boss tip- Make twice as much as you think you'll eat)

ESSAN CUISINE OF THAILAND
696 Park Ave., Rochester NY 14607
585-271-2271
This is a cool little down home Thai restaurant with great Thai fare, and a laid back ambience. There is one table which overlooks the kitchen which will afford a view that you might see in a little street in Bankok. It's really cool to watch the cooks work their magic with large pots of broths, and stir fried goodies. HOWEVER! Beware--when they say nuclear, they mean NUCLEAR!!!!! I got the not-as-hot-as-thai-hot and it kicked my butt. Another nice feature is that they own a Japanese Restaurant right next door, and you can also order sushi.

HOT NOW!! It's time for seasonings in your greetings and you know your uncle Charlie needs another case of Liquid Summer Hot Sauce and your sister Susie would love to get her very own Sauce Boss CD. Check out the Sauce Boss Store and get your order rolling.

We've had a great year. Seen a lot of places and done a lot of gigs - large and small. It's great to return to our old familiar hangouts to see our long time friends, because although the gigs may get bigger, they can't get any better. Y'all have a happy holiday season.
SEE YA!
Sauce Boss
