Mama's in the kitchen. Teeny bopper daughter takes the order. Pappa and young son play a game of primitive foozeball with a bottle cap and a couple of magic markers on the counter. The game is stacked in favor of dad, but the boy is tireless, chasing the bottle cap all over the place when he misses. Totally charming. They got it right when they said "Authentic". On the table is a jar of pickled pigskin and vegetables. The menu is written on the board behind the counter. Classic Mexican food. Like being in a tiny cantina in Michoacan. And the price is so right that a VERY generous tip is nessesary to alleviate the guilt for stealing food. I got a plate of ceviche with refried beans, guacamole, and salsa with chips for $1.75! These guys are just getting started and could use some biz. Check em out. Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, 11am-10pm Sat, Sun, 11am-2:30am

VEGETARIAN GUMBO
1 cup Roux (see gumbo recipe for roux)
2 onions cut up
1 green pepper diced
2 Qts veggie broth (I use Imagine brand)
1 Lb okra cut up
1 zuchini quartered and sliced
5 tomatoes diced
4 ears of corn cut off the cob
1 Lb butter beans
Saute onions and pepper in the roux
Add broth and veggies
Cook it til it cain't get no better
