SAUCE BOSS ON THE FOOD NETWORK…AGAIN Monday, June 17, at 10:30 P.M. on the Food Network (and repeated again at 1:30 am that night). The show is "Keith Famie's Adventures". The segment was filmed at Tobacco Road in February with one of those wild and crazy Miami crowds.

WE'RE HEADED OUT for yet another tour. This Sunday, June 16th, we're making our annual Father's Day Beach Party at AJ's in Destin, then to Six Flags Great Adventures NJ for their Mardi Gras Festival Wednesday through Friday afternoons at 1:00 pm on their Summer Festival Stage, then Friday night to the Jersey shore at Bubba Mack's Shack, and down to Norfolk VA for their Bayou Boogaloo Fest on Saturday afternoon. Sunday the 23rd, it’s the Sand Dollar in Folly Beach, SC. June ends with a return to South Florida at Musicians Exchange in Hollywood. All great times to catch the Sauce Boss.

Above and beyond the call of breakfast, Lenny's is an adventure into carbohydrates. Breakfast comes with a basket of cheese danish, blueberry coffee cake, bear claws, apple danish, and cheese cinamon coffee cake. Of course, you can also have pancakes and a mountain of home fries. You can get stupid eating at Lenny's. What are you going to do when they bring hot pastries while you're waiting for your alligator omelette to arrive. I'll tell you what. Yer gonna dive in. Lunch is deli style. Sandwiches come with your choice of cucumbers,macaroni salad, "health" salad, cole slaw, pickles, tomatoes, and beets served up in little bowls. New York cornball humor reminicent of Vaudeville is rampant. As you enter, you are greeted by taxidermied crows perched on a sigh that reads, "They're raven about Lenny's". Ceiling tiles have been replaced with signs . "Protect your bagel, put lox on it." "Be a regular customer, try our stewed prunes." "A hamburger is a steak that flunked his physical." Lenny's positioning statement,"Best breakfast in Clearwater" is hard to dispute. Though the Hollandaise sauce didn't knock me out, everything else about this place did. Bring a hearty appetite.

SHRIMP COCKTAIL SAUCE
1 cup catsup
2 tbs fresh grated horseradish
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbs mayonaise
Liquid Summer Hot Sauce to taste
For the faint of heart,use less horseradish and hot sauce For the thrill seeker, mix equal parts of Liquid Summer Datil, and Liquid Summer Habanero, and load it up! Peel, de-vein, and steam some jumbos. Dip 'em in the sauce, and taste the explosion.
