NEXT WEEK WE'RE HEADED TO MIAMI for three days at Tobacco Road (Dec 28, 29 and New Years Eve) and also for the King Mango Strut (after the parade) which is being billed as the "World's Largest Janet Reno Dance Party" in downtown Coconut Grove at 4:30 pm. (Dec. 30) Check out Ed Bell's show on WLRN radio in Miami on Friday Dec. 28 from 1 to 2 PM. I'll be on the show, along with the parade organizers. The show will also be broadcast live on the Internet at WLRN.org

THIS WEEK IT'S HANGIN WITH THE GRANDKIDS. SPEAKING OF FAMILY:

NUMBER ONE DAUGHTER, ANNIE has a group show at the Bass Museum, 2121 Park Ave, Miami Beach entitled "globe>miami>island", which will be up until February 3rd. She is also exhibiting in a group show, "Homegrown", at the Exhibition Space in the Art Center South Florida. You can see more of her works at her studio at the Art Center at 810 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.

NUMBER TWO DAUGHTER, MARY has written and produced a VH-1 "Legends" special about Sam Cooke. It airs: Thursday 12/20 8:00 pm Thursday 1/3 2:00 am
