Sauce Boss Gazette
Volume 9 Number 9 * Mid-August 2001

key west. Uncapitalized says it all. Laid back and informal, hangin' loose, gittin' down, partay all night! We're gittin' off at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Café Tuesday thru Sunday August 14 - 19. Then we are back on the road. I've got to thank all you Gumbo Heads for supporting our summer tours. Sold out, or standing room only has been our typical bill of fare, so you may want to call the venue ahead of time if you are travelling to upcoming gigs.

THE 2001 LIQUID SUMMER ODYSSEY CONTEST! Time is running out. You can win! We want to know your favorite use of Liquid Summer Hot Sauce. Do you put it on your breakfast? On your dinner? If you like rock shrimp, The Dixie Crossroads is the place to go. They've got 'em fried, broiled, or steamed. The 10 oz. prime rib is killer. The Crossroads features steak, BBQ ribs, lobster, catfish, mullet, salmon, cod, chicken, crab, clams, but the emphasis is on shrimp. "Boat Run", Large, Royal Red, and Rock Shrimp, are all on the menu. The last time we happened in on the place, we didn't even order. They just started bringing out the food. We never made it past the appetiser. Thank You, Dixie Crossroads!

GUMBO MAN IN BOMBAY We just got this e-mail from Paul Maas "Just thought you'd like to know. We are playing Gumbo Man in India at a lounge in Bombay. Found you the other night 8/5/01 at Tobacco Road. Stunning performance, Man. Bought your CD and took it with me to Bombay . . ." Have you ever tried mixing Liquid Summer in your curry? It's pretty good.
